Committing to The Path

I wanted to talk about this idea of committing to the path and what that means. I so often see people living their lives in this state of one foot in, one foot out. And this goes for all religions and lifestyles. And up until very recently, I too played this game. It has this feeling of "I have these beliefs when it serves me." When looking at the bigger picture, this really doesn't make much sense. The law only applies when it suits us? It's crucial that we start to understand that every minute of every day, we are creating our reality, not just when it serves us. So often I talk to people and they are more than willing to tell me about the things they have created in their life, but when talking about something that's less than pleasant they fall back into the victim blame game. I won't even begin to act like I don't do this from time to time, I am very much still conditioned to this way of thinking, but I do try to acknowledge it when it is brought to my attention. However, so many people fight this concept, as it makes for the need to change or take responsibility for their lives, thoughts, and feelings and most people are just not ready for that.
I think it is important, as we become more self-aware, that we start to realize that the attachment we have to needing to blame someone (or something) else is the attachment to the belief that we are not creating our reality and that we are separate from the whole. Once you realize that all, and yes, I do mean ALL, experiences, interactions, illnesses, joys, abundance, etc are a direct manifestation of the vibration you are holding, everything becomes mold-able and quite fluid. What an empowering notion! Why is it then, we fear taking responsibility for our reality? I think it is because we still link the idea of "failure" or rather not feeling good with our own worth. We somehow think that if we have created a sickness within ourselves that we have somehow failed and therefore are not worthy of love. This couldn't be further from the truth! The universe is not out to get you or reward you. Your reality is just there to reflect back to you, so that you can see what needs to shift, that is all. And illness or a lack of money is just your body and the universal mirror communicating this to you. Once you release the need to be perfect, you begin to see that all is just a training program for growth and learning. This is why our experience here on Earth is so magical. Our reflection here is so visceral!
It is time to take responsibility for our reality and really work the muscle of self awareness and mindfulness. We are the universe expressing itself to learn what it is and to experience itself. What a magical thing to be! What is it you want to explore in this reality? All you have to do is hold that frequency and you can have it. Yes, it takes practice, but that is why committing to the path and being mindful at all times is so important. Only being aware part of the time and letting the rest of your frequency be an unconscious mishmash of unconscious beliefs and fears is a huge mixed signal to the universe. It's about being mindful every minute and understanding how the game works. It's about shifting the perspective and turning it on its head.
Take a moment look around you. All you see around you is an illusion for your soul growth. All the separateness you see is just a reflection of your belief that you are separate. Begin to shift that perception and the magic will begin to show itself.
Many blessings and namaste.
